Vicky Kaushal’s period-action drama Chhaava continues its record-breaking streak, maintaining a strong hold at the box office even on weekdays. The film is now close to entering the ₹200 crore club.
Chhaava’s Box Office Dominance Continues
Since its release on February 14, 2025, Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has been unstoppable at the box office. The film has emerged as the highest-grossing movie of 2025 so far, drawing in massive audiences and smashing multiple records. Despite being a weekday, its performance on the first Tuesday remained strong, showing no signs of slowing down.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, Chhaava earned approximately ₹24.50 crore on Day 5 (first Tuesday), maintaining its momentum after collecting ₹24.1 crore on Day 4 (first Monday). With this, the film’s total box office collection stands at approximately ₹170 crore.
Chhaava Inches Closer to ₹200 Crore Club
With just ₹30 crore left to reach the ₹200 crore milestone, Chhaava has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of Vicky Kaushal’s previous blockbusters, Raazi and Sam Bahadur. The film is now on track to potentially overtake Uri: The Surgical Strike, which remains Kaushal’s highest-grossing film to date. Given its consistent earnings, Chhaava could soon set a new personal record for the actor.
